Nicole

Nicole and her two sons were originally clients of SPAN’s Emergency Shelter Program. She was interviewed for the Moving To Work Program and placed on our waitlist until an opening became available for her in November 2013. The safety of their new housing situation allowed Nicole to return to full-time work in the food service industry. She is also enrolled to return to school to become an ophthalmologist assistant. Her dream is to travel the world, providing vision care to communities where access is much more limited.
